How Green Patagonia tourism model
Through the Directorate Senator Paean Province, have been coordinated actions such as the recruitment of tourist information, participation in Fair organized by the Chilean Association of Municipalities in Puerto Mont and media trips to the area to promote products and attractive as Chasten Volcano ascents.

Since January, tourist information offices of Chasten and Futaleufu have bilingual professional to respond to the large number of foreign tourists visiting the area. This has allowed re-establish tourist information service in Chasten which was interrupted from 2008 to the eruption of Chasten. Between 4 and 6 February 2011 the communes of the province of Paean show the best of local artisans and tourist attractions, in an exhibition organized by the Chilean Association of Municipalities in Puerto Mont.
“This shows that working together Senator Los Lagos with municipalities and employers in the Patagonia Green is the best way to enhance this area as a tourist destination of special interests,” said Provincial Director Senator Paean, Fernando Hernandez.
