Hotel Torre del Remei
North of the province of Girona, just on the French border, we find one of the prettiest towns in the province. This is Puigcerda, capital of the region of Cerdanya and a place that is within the framework Pyrenees.
Right here we can stay in the building that you can see in the picture, particularly in the Hotel Torre del Remei, located a mere 50 km from Andorra and more than 150 of the provincial capital, Gerona. This place is a French neoclassical mansion was designed by the architect in charge of Agusti Freixa Manaut, who wanted to give him his daughter.
Inside we found all kinds of details well thought out, combining the noble style of the Catalan bourgeoisie of the early twentieth century with the comfort and totally contemporary decor.
