Veracruz as an international tourist destination
Vera Cruz is projected as an international tourist destination and will appear in the list of major players of great tourism thanks to agreements and conventions that the Government has established with foreign firms in the industry and by the next meeting of the National Tourism Service Exporters (Contexture), and the writers’ “Hay Festival.”
According to the Secretary of Tourism, Culture and Cinematography, Parlance Leticia Nunez, after the celebrations of the Candelabra, on February 11 in the city of Vera Cruz will be held the annual convention of the Contexture an organization that brings together the most prominent promoters Mexico tourist services and the world.
The convention of the Council will integrate permanently the state as a tourist destination of various circuits marketed by members of the association, and start together a promotional campaign consisting of travel incentives and improving prices.
Accompanied by members of the hotel associations in the state of Vera Cruz, Parlance Nunez reported that as part of the achievements of the working trip to Madrid, Spain, also emphasizes the completion of the meeting of literature “Hay Festival”, an international event that brings together writers, filmmakers, musicians and artists from around the world and 20 years promoting the exchange of ideas across cultural and economic barriers, making reference to the intellectual community.
The “Hay Festival” has been held in cities in Great Britain, India, Spain, Kenya, Colombia and Mexico, in the city of Zapatistas, this year’s event will be held in Vera Cruz from six to 9 October.
